October 20th 2020 - Predator Software looses internet

Predator Software lost internet access at 12:15am on October 20th due to our ISP making line equipment improvements within our industrial park. We were able to restore Internet access, our web site and phone system at 7:45am on October 20th.

October 18th 2023 - Predator Desktop Wallpaper and updated logo is released

Predator Software has a released a free high resolution Predator Desktop Wallpaper set. Download

In addition, Predator Software has updated its corporate logo. The new logo design improves the use of the Predator Software logo with colored backgrounds.

October 12th 2023 - CNC Totaal becomes a Predator Reseller

CNC Totaal, a Netherlands based supplier of CAM software, training and optimization services for CNC manufacturers, is now a Predator Reseller. Their deep expertise and excellent customer focus makes them a natural reseller for Predator Software in Brussels, Germany and the Netherlands.

Predator Software and CNC Totaal finalized the agreement at the METAVAK 2023 show in Gorinchem.

August 29th 2023 - Daniel Eischens Dies in Chihuahua Mexico

Due to natural causes, Daniel Eischens, our co-worker, veteran and friend, died at age 60 on August 24th 2023. He was a Predator Support Engineer for the last 9 years and he will be missed. Customers who were working with Daniel on active projects can contact our main support line for reassignment.

His memorial service will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie Texas on September 15, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. His family has setup a gofundme to offset funeral and releated travel expenses. Click to donate

Predator MDC fully supports Okuma's next generation OSP-P500 control. Support for the 21.5" and 15" models of the P500M, P500L and P500S series CNCs are included within Predator MDC and Predator MDC Enterprise. The Okuma OSP-500 includes Ethernet communications with every model with an option for RS232 (DNC-B) support. Predator MDC includes support for multiple machine monitoring and data collection protocols including OSP API, MTConnect and OPC UA. May 22nd 2023 - Predator MDC v11 adds support for 70+ data recorders

Predator Software has expanded the list of compatible industrial data recorders or data loggers to 70+ models from 20+ vendors. This expands the range of factory equipment and/or provides a richer data set for existing equipment. Predator MDC supports multiple channels per data recorder up to the limit of the individual data recorder. Common applications include temperatures, pressures, power, vibration, etc. Comprehensive trend charting is available within Predator MDC with filtering by departments, locations, groups, machines, cost centers, work centers, machine types and shifts. Support for data recorders from ABB, Eurotherm, Honeywell, Siemens and many other makes and models are now documented. Customers with a mix of data recorders from different vendors can leverage the power of Predator MDC to collect, process and store all event details within a single Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database.

As of Earth Day 2023, over 80% of Predator employees and contractors work from home.

• Carpooling is encouraged

In 2022 Predator Software's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon consumed 30,155 kWh of renewable energy from the following sources:

• 76% Wind
• 21% Solar
• 1% Biomass
• 1% Geothermal
• 1% Hydro (low impact)

Which means that 47,114 lbs of CO₂ was prevented from being released.

Last night the Portland Metro got 10.8 inches of snow. Today it will not have a high temperature over freezing. So the Predator Software office will be closed for the day.
