December 13th 2021 - Log4j (CVE-20221-44228) Security Announcement

Predator Software is aware of the remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) related to Apache Log4j (a logging tool used in many Java-based applications) disclosed on 9 Dec 2021. We have completed a technical audit of our source code and applications. Predator Software applications do not use Apache Log4j and do not contain the remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228).

October 5th 2021 - Windows 11 and Windows 2022 Server support announced

Predator Software announces its plan to support for Windows 11 and Windows 2022 Server with the upcoming release of Predator v12 applications. Today, Microsoft has begun rolling out its initial production release of Windows 11. Deployment of Windows 11 and Windows 2022 Server in production manufacturing facilities for 24x7x365 reliability requires extensive testing throughout the supply chain. Predator Software began its testing efforts with beta releases of Windows. Now that both Windows 11 and Windows 2022 Server have been released by Microsoft, Predator Software can test with the release versions of Windows. Critical device drivers support has not been released by several 3rd party vendors. Predator Software's development of version 12 and testing of these newer Microsoft Windows operating systems is ongoing. This situation will improve this year and will continue through 2022. We will update this news page, the Downloads page and the Windows Requirements page with details as progress is made.

Finally, Predator Software is also announcing today that the upcoming release of Predator v12 applications will support Windows 10 and Windows 2019 Server.

July 9th 2021 - Oracle JD Edwards and Predator PDM v11 Integration is available

JD Edwards and Predator PDM have been integrated to create a paperless manufacturing experience on the shop floor. As shop floor personnel select jobs or work orders within JD Edwards, Predator PDM automatically launches providing the released version of the correct CNC program(s), setup sheet(s), tool list(s) and other manufacturing documents automatically. Real-time integration is 100% automated.

Within Predator PDM further integration with Predator DNC, MDC, Tracker and Virtual CNC provides real-time machine communications, machine monitoring, manufacturing data collection, 3D machine simulation, 3D CNC verification and integration with tool, gage and fixture management.

Typically, a shop floor PC is mounted at each CNC, CMM, robot or test stand for operation of JD Edwards and Predator PDM. Printing of paper-based routers and bar code readers is eliminated with this real-time integration method.
